TGP Cropper

With TGP Cropper you can easily browse to any website and select any image to edit. With only a click of the mouse you can download any image on the page you are viewing and open it in the integrated image editor. Once you are done editing the image you can save it to your hard disk drive or upload it to your AutoGallery Pro/SQL or TGP Rotator control panel for use as a preview thumbnail. TGP Rotator is designed primarily to be integrated with a web-based TGP administration program so that you can quickly create high quality preview thumbnails for use on your site.

Integrated Web Browser

When you start TGP Cropper you will be presented with a simple web-browsing interface that is based on Internet Explorer technology. Since nearly all sites on the internet today are compatible with Internet Explorer, you can view them all in TGP Cropper. The browser window works just like a normal browser, so there are very few new things that you will need to learn. The browser features back and forward buttons, as well as an address bar where you can type in the URL you want to visit. If you are using TGP Cropper with one of our TGP administration programs, it can be integrated so that the browser window will automatically go to one of your galleries, and allow you to select an image that you want to edit so that you can create preview thumbnails.

Image Editing Interface

TGP Cropper has a built in image editing interface so that you can quickly edit the image that you have selected from a website. With the image editing interface you can resize and crop the image to create perfectly sized preview thumbnails for your TGP, or leave the image full sized if you want to save it to your hard disk drive. The image editing interface also features a number of different filters that you can use to adjust the brightness and contrast of the image, sharpen or blur the image, and adjust the color levels of the image. Flipping and rotating the image can also be done with a few mouse clicks.

Once you have edited the image how you want it, you can either save it to your hard disk drive, or if you are using one of our TGP administration programs you can upload it for use as a preview thumbnail. When saving the image you can set the compression level which will determine the file size and quality of the final image.

AutoGallery and TGP Rotator Integration

The primary purpose of TGP Cropper is to integrate with TGP administration programs so that you can quickly and easily create high quality thumbnail previews for your TGP. TGP Copper integrates with all of our TGP products: TGP Rotator, AutoGallery SQL, and AutoGallery Pro. From the control panel of any of our TGP administration products, all you have to do is click a link to bring up the TGP Cropper interface. The web browser interface of TGP Cropper will automatically go to the corresponding gallery URL so that you can select and edit an image into the thumbnail you want. After you have edited the image how you want it, you can upload it to your TGP administration program with the click of your mouse.

Download and Register

TGP Cropper is distributed in a Windows Installer package. Simply download this file to your computer and double click it to start the installation process. make sure you are logged in as an administrator on your Windows XP or Windows 2000 Pro computer before installing. Once the installation has been completed, a shortcut will be placed in your start menu. You can use that to start TGP Cropper for the first time. If you need further help from there, click on the Help Topics option in the Help menu to view the software documentation.

Registration

TGP Cropper has been transitioned from a commerical product to a freeware product, and therefore you will see a registration screen the first time you run the program. Make sure you are connected to the internet before you complete this process. On the first window that appears, select the Evaluate button. You can then access the Help menu to select the Register... option. You can enter anything in the Username and Serial Number fields. Press the Register button to complete the registration. TGP Cropper will exit and you will need to restart it to work with the full unlocked version.
